My nickname is …

Well I have a lot of nicknames.   I’ll start with the one that some counselors game me at my Dad’s baseball camp one summer. Sam - because my hair was so short I looked like a boy. Several summers later it changed to Samantha! My middles sister Karyn calls me Swanduckity & Swanson.

My nieces & newphews call me Aunt Snookie. Some old friends call me Sonny! I’ve also been called SueSheaBillie. Joe Willie calls me SueBillie…so take your pick! Mr. Electricity (my hubby Jeff) just says “hey you”! I’ll answer to most anything except something ugly!

My hometown is…

I really don’t have a hometown…but where I graduated from high school (Fort Mill, SC) would be the closest thing to a hometown that I would know since my dad moved our family around quite a bit! 

The year I graduated from high school was…..

          …a very good year for the teachers!

          I don’t have an ipod yet. I’d probably loose it!

It’s a tie between “Hit the Road Jack” & You Are My Sunshine” both performed by Ray Charles.

It really depends on what day you ask me that question so….here are a few of my favorites:

The Closer, NCIS & The Big Bang Theory & CSI NY, CSI Miami & CSI (Vegas – the original and in that order!) White Collar, Monk, Psych ….

The name of the book I’m reading right now is…

          That changes all the time since I read constantly…so my favorite book of 2009 was “The Help” by Kathryn Stockett & so far in 2010 it is “Saving CeeCee Honeycutt” by Beth Hoffman.

My favorite place to vacation is…

          My hometown of Fort Mill, South Carolina & anywhere my parents, sisters & extended family happen to live. I also like the mountains. Someday I hope to vacation in Alaska!!!

My favorite type of food is…

          Southern Comfort Food!!!

If I wasn’t on the air, in radio, I’d be…

          Depressed and bored to tears! Seriously…since I already work part time in a bookshop…I’d have to say a sales clerk in the bookshop. But if I had known I’d had an interest in it when I was younger I would have been a private detective! Or someone that does research finding things that are hard to track down….

If I could hang out with anyone (now or in the past), it would be…

Ray Charles!   I was always drawn to his voice when I heard it on the radio or on my record albums when I was a little girl.
